Xunantunich is an ancient Mayan archaeological site in San Jose Succotz located in western Belize well within the site of the Guatemala border, Xunantunich is known for its large Pyramidal structure that reaches a height of 130ft and is known as El Castillo, Xunantunich consists of two ball courts, one royal tomb, and a royal residence. Xunantunich is famously known for its stucco frieze on the eastern side of El Castillo. After learning about Mayan History, enjoy a delightful lunch at a local restaurant just before a 1hour 20 minutes drive to Jaguar Paw before taking a 30-minute Jungle walk to the Nohoch Che’en cave for an exciting cave tubing experience.
